Marco: Dada will take me to Alba's to see Brookie tomorrow.
Me: oh Marco, Brookie isn't going to be at Alba's anymore.
Marco: Yes she are!!!!
Me: I'm sorry sweetheart, she's going to big girl school.
Marco: No she not!!! I go to Alba's and I sing Twinkle Twinkle and she says 'Stop singing that!'!!!
Good luck tomorrow Brookie. :) You'll be missed.

Twain Harte lake is perrrrfect for kids. Especially if you travel with three uncles, an aunt and a grandma in addition to all your friends. :)

Last two girls up!

How did I end up with three half naked kids singing?

Reesie's birthday party.

After the trip Marco said, "no!! I don't want to go home. I want to go to cabin. All my friends are waiting for me!!"

I vant your blood.

After five minutes at high altitude, Marco was covered with mosquito bites, proving once again how clearly he favors his mother.
Note the face bandaids and giant swollen cheek.
The other six people did not get one bite. Google says some hereditary blood traits can be more appealing to mosquitos than others. Aunt Jean... Why????

8,000 feet of Paradise
We escaped to the mountain air for a quick weekend. Highlights include: champagne of beers, epic 7-person nap, Niko and Marco being grown up boys and Heather as world's best Mom.

Confucius.
After eating Chinese food recently, Marco got to have his fortune cookie treat.
I reminded him not to eat the paper.
"I know. Mama, I read you my story. It say Marco love Mama too. If I stay in my big boy bed all night until light is out the window, I eat marshmallow for breakfast."

Better than Safeway.com
Hey neighbor! Can we borrow an egg? No yolk, husband and neighbor Brad avoid egg on face.
Down the hill, over the street, egg delivery - nothing but net.
