401k?

Last week we had a feverish child handoff that only two working Cecchins could design. So... Marco spent some time at my work.

Here he is in my workroom. I photocopied his hand "the big machine took my picture," my co-workers gave him treats, and he played with this old pumpkin until he said, "mama, let's get out of here."

As we pulled out of the parking lot he said, "well, that was fun seeing your girlfriends. Thanks for letting me come to your work Mama."

My betrothed

We continue to share 50-pound bags of flour which makes me think the betrothal still stands. Of course, if I know her Dad, he's probably making her pretend to like Marco for free reign on the pizza oven.

Here are Marco and Sofia, ready for bed.

This is pre-Mohawk. Wonder if she likes a bad boy? She's obviously ready to be a biker babe.

Wilson's biggest fan

Marco was going to be Brian Wilson for Halloween anyway, so with the Giants in the playoffs, we decided to give him his Wilson mohawk early.

On another note, they don't make Wilson jerseys in toddler sizes. I know! It's un-American! Toddlers can only be fans of Lincecum, Sandoval or Posey. But Marco is his own man.

Barbara has already expressed that she is not a fan and my Mom said it's child abuse to ruin Marco's beautiful hair.

Marco loves it. Loves the attention especially I think and calls his hair "awesome." He told me, "dada leaves my hair up HERE, and takes it off HERE."

Those other people might just be jealous of his awesomeness.

Popsicles.

I had a brief domestic moment and made popsicles to help the boys cool off during our recent heat wave. Cute little guys, they took them in the newly landscaped backyard!

I was so filled with pride and they were being so sweet that it took us a long time to realize that they had turned on the water and were playing in the mud. Ah, boys.

Birthday party upgrade

The bouncy house has evolved. Check out Kayla's awesome entertainment from her fifth birthday party. We had the pleasure of partying with her when we were in town last month.

Boys will be boys.

Marco and I had a great time babysitting Nikos and Olive this week.

I love this pic, I just so clearly see Tyke and Jeff sitting at a bar. They probably wouldn't be sharing a peach.

Babysitter of the year got all three kids down before 8:30. (Four before 9 if you count me.)

He runs. She runs.

In an effort to support the Mark Farrell for SF city supervisor campaign (aka, operation don't embarrass Katie), I ran. I know! The whole way in a 5k!

Here's a pic of the boys pushing the kids just after they came across the finish line waaaaay after Liz and I (admittedly trailing Katie). They look so tired because they ran once they could see the Finish Line.

Of course, I had five bucks that they stopped at the pretzel cart, so I was still impressed.
