Oasis

Landscaping Project - Day One.
I come home and I'm giddy with the progress.

Jeff: I mean, it's okay, it's ditches and rocks.
Me: I know! Isn't it gorgeous?

You be the judge.

I'm an awesome Mom, part 4

Last week while we were off, Marco and I headed down to the park and played among a sea of children, Moms and nannies. There's a whole world out there going on while I'm at work. Who knew?

We played until lunchtime when all the Moms and nannies pulled out healthy nutritious sack lunches for their kids. Damn. I brought raisins. Marco said, "I'm hungry Mama." I said, "Do you want raisins?" And he said, "Uh, can we go to the Burrito Store?"

My kid totally gets me.

I'm an awesome Mom, part 3

Yes, Marco got to eat his cereal while he watching morning cartoons.
Good thing I'm not home all the time, Marco could turn out to be a spoiled brat.

I'm an awesome Mom, part 2

As a treat during Marco's week off, we took an evening walk to check out the new frozen yogurt place on Lakeshore. It was met to rave reviews by Marco and Avery. Avery even shared some bites with his lady. Yum...

I'm an awesome Mom, part 1

Marco's daycare is closed for the week, so I took the week off work. Day one, he went to Grandma's overnight with cousin Tommy. Jeff and I had a date!

Day two, I met up with Barbara, Tommy, Katie, Brookie, Marco and baby Jack at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. This place is arguably the most awesome kid place ever. These are just a couple pics, but it's in Sausalito right at the base of the Golden Gate bridge.
The three played sooooo well together and even took turns being the bossiest. Tommy's turn shown here.
This is not *just* blurry. This is Marco in a water tunnel.

Brookie had to be walked out crying because she didn't want to leave. Marco started crying when he realized he wasn't going home with Tommy in Grandma's car. Tommy held his hand and said, "It's okay Marco. You have to go home with your Mommy because you need a little rest." :)
