Pizza ROI

We figure the breakeven on the oven is about 250 pizzas. We're fast approaching. We threw together a quick pizza dinner for Taki's birthday recently. 12 pizzas... four kids... 30 beers... just a regular Friday night at the Cecchins.
Marco has started calling his barbeque his "pizza oven." We have a real problem.

You can stretch your kids about an hour longer by popping in a movie. Heather, however, can not be stretched.

What happens at Grandma's...

Just got this message from Barbara, "Having a wonderful time. Better that you are not here."

Yard

The yard is looking amazing. Pictures don't do it justice. We're aaaaaalmost done. I highly recommend an ugly "before" and low expectations. I came home last week and literally screamed when I saw the lawn. Amazing.
Shoutout to Gina G. who took my frantic gardening call this week and immensely improved the yard. Thanks G!

Happy Birthday Aunt Joanne!

Jeff threw a rager for Aunt Joanne's birthday. 18 pizzas, 8 kids and 23 family members.

He did an amazing job, including setting up two long tables on the deck. It was like eating at a Tuscan villa, only I had to go to work the next day.

Awards go to Megan for her gorgeous and delicious cakes, Uncle Lenny for most inventive surprise pizza (guacamole and tomato), cousin Kami for being the best babysitter ever, and of course, Jeff for being entertainer extraordinare. Here's the proof... The chef and the birthday girl.

Rollin on the River

We had a GREAT overnight visit with Jackson and Edgar this weekend at their River "home." Marco loved Jackson so much that he affectionately refers to him as "that boy."

We hit the river in style. Marco and I went tubing - he loved it! Jackson and Edgar even showed me how to kneeboard. Super, super fun!

Marco wanted to do it too. He said, "Mama, I want to go on the skateboard next!" I told him he could go when he's six. And he can have gum when he's five. He has no concept of what that means, just that he can't do it. :(

We saw another kneeboarder and Marco said, "Mama! That boy skateboards just like you!"

Contain your shock, but the Blazona home is by far the fanciest, most stylish abode on the Stockton Delta.
