We love it.
We galavanted [to read: limped] around Hermosa Beach like we owned the place. And like we weren't the oldest and fattest people within a square mile. As for pictures, I went for quality, not quantity.
Sure, I had low expectations, but I thought the band was AWESOME. There was a live auction where Heather almost paid $85 to take a shot on stage with the band. Taki was begging her to stop bidding and promised they would take a shot with her for free. ha.

Heather taking her life in her hands. Jen shoots to kill.
I did this to Ted's glasses. HA! My name is Sarah and my hugs kill sunglasses.

Cheated death again!
We roadtripped to visit Poseidon and once again took our life into our hands. Marco told Grandma and Papa "WATCH OUT FOR WHALES AND SHARKS!" but those were not the enemy. Three nights on the boat... three adventures.
First, coming in at midnight, Marco and Jeff took a near spill into the harbor slipping on the wet swimstep. Very scary. It was silent and once Jeff found his footing holding Marco, Marco said, "Whoa."
Second, Marco slept on the bunk bed like a real boy boy. He took a full body turn right off onto the floor and erupted into full screams in the middle of the night. Yikes. It scared me so much, I jumped up, ran in there and said, "You're okay you're okay, where did you fall?" And he said, "ON THE GROUND!!!" ;)
Third, Grandma and Papa narrowly survived their 24-hour babysitting adventure while we snuck away to visit friends in LA. Here's what Papa thought about it.
Thanks Grandma and Papa!!

The music is gonna get-cha.
Marco loves music. Besides the old standards, Twinkle, twinkle, Ring around the rosie, ABCs, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Old MacDonald had a farm, he also likes to belt out the Ting Tings' "That's not my name!" and Kings of Leon's "Don't Knock It. Don't Knock It." while he plays his Melissa and Doug instruments. (Thanks Pignatis!) He's so hip.
After a day of dancing and singing with friends, we thought Marco was going to go for his first no-nap day, when he crawled up into Jeff's lap and...
fell fast asleep. He's only two after all!
