Boys are gross. (And Lia too.) Yes, that's a frog on his shoulder. Actually my urban dweller was a little scared of the thing. Ben and Lia, however, are a little bit country and were happy to play with it and put it on Marco's shoulder. Bullies.

He may be a little bit rock and roll.
We beat the heat by heading out to Wilton. Um... it's hot there, but we didn't notice because we only left the pool long enough to put Marco down for a nap. Plus, they have these great inventions in Sacramento that we don't have in Oakland. Air conditioning.

And the winner is...
BAM! Jayme Beck!
Tell her what she's won... winna winna! Cabernet and chicken dinner!
Update: Uncle Mike claims that he won too. But Jayme sent her screen shot first - decision stands.

Good eye, good eye.
In an effort to quell all things lacrosse, G-ma nd G-pa's house continues to be Spring Training. Bats for all four grandkids, new garage flooring with construction paper bases and even a pitching target for Joey. (I think Clara, Tommy and Marco are hitting and fielding for now.)
Every time Marco squats, Jeff says "you better get used to that." If he's going to play baseball with his body, he may be relegated to catcher. I mean, how many right-handed, 6-six foot, scholarship guys do you see out there pitching? Uh, cancel that...
Here he is already behind home plate, a natural.
Batting Practice...
Of course Marco prefers Clara's purple Dora bat.
