"What a sweet little boy"

LONG BEACH - September 12, 2009
"What a sweet little boy" was not what the passengers of Jet Blue flight number 250 were saying as 19-month pajama clad Marco John Cecchin screamed his way through the first half of his Oakland homeward-bound flight.

The normally charming young gent could be heard in Row 1 all the way from where his clever parents sat themselves in the last row.

Bedtime proved to be a less fruitful time to fly than hoped. Choruses of "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! No MAMA! No DADA! OFF! OFF MAMA!" coupled with pushing finally led to his parents evacuating their seats while Marco threw himself down on all three seats and fell fast asleep.

Mr. & Mrs. Cecchin offered the pilot to land while they stood in the aisle, however one obtuse flight attendent insisted, "You must sit and he must be buckled."

The Cecchins make their home in Oakland, CA where son Marco likes to sleep flat on his stomach.

Oh no!! Sounds like a great flight...they sure can get picky about their sleeping positions as they get older. Katie used to fall asleep in the car all the time, now she says "I want bed!"

Napping happens anywhere.
Nighttime happens in a bed.

Next time you'll know to buy five seats! (I still can't believe the little darling did this, but seem to hear more surprising tales each day as 3 of the 4 grandchildren embrace (or approach) their two's.
