The Parkway Speakeasy Theatre is closing!! No more picture? No more pub? No more pizza with weird uncooked onions in it?
Our local cheap movie theatre with food, beer and wine is closing and I'm devastated. Obviously we weren't frequenting it enough to keep it afloat, but I just loved it there.
Enjoy these photos of happier times on second hand couches at the Baby Brigade. Think Green's Day's "Time of Your Life" music for the overdone, totally obvious song selection in your mind.

This is truly sad news. We will have to start visiting the Cerrito Speakeasy more often so the same fate does not fall upon it. Of course, in order to go to Baby Brigade we will have to dump Nikos off with you guys!
Ah, poor Nikos getting "dumped off". I bet having a sibling sucks. And what are you people doing up there going to a "Speakeasy". You are parents, for crying out loud.
Good. We do not have something like that in Eugene, so now you know how it feels.
