Great Aunt Claudia spoiled Marco with bouncing and singing. Sure, she's not his Grandma, but she's a grandma and sometimes Grammy Pammy's sister will just have to do. And sure all her songs were about Katie, but Marco didn't seem to mind. Here she is holding Marco and literally running around in circles to entertain him. ha! After she left, Marco called us lazy. Doesn't he look like such a big boy here?

It's a "great" world.
Great Aunt Claudia and Great Uncle Roger stopped to visit Team Cecchin on their Northern California 2008 tour. Jeff and I treated them to a deck with sunshine (a commodity in Oregon), chicken cacciatore and Jeff's homemade pasta. They treated us to an outfit for Marco, entertaining the baby and Roger's scotch on wheels.

After their arrival, they quite literally ran to our office to check granddaughter Katie's blog. They were sure she'd grown up while they were gone. It must have been all that lamb.
And here is the scotch/whiskey/dark booze tasting. Blah. Uncle Roger is the only person I know who shows up with his own selection to share.
Thanks for the visit Great Aunt and Uncle!

Way to go Great Aunt Claudia and Uncle Roger! Glad the songs were about Katie and that the blog was checked right away. I mean, Marco is cute and they were there to see him, but good thing they remembered who was number one. :)
check out the bottle, second from the left, plain clear wrapper....could it be....home-made whiskey???
You all know Jeff and Sarah are wonderful hosts--the food was great and all that Calif. sunshine. And I got to carry round little Jack, I mean Marco, and he likes my singing. But alas, they did not shield us from the paparazzi while we were out on the deck; we were even on channel 4. So we had to drink more wine. We also had to be careful they did not get a shot of Marco before the posed pics appear in People.
